Statement of Faith
Standing Firm on God’s Word
Our Statement of Faith reflects the biblical principles that define who we are and
how we live out our mission.
God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, yet distinct. (Genesis 1:26, 1 John 1:7)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine yet fully human. He was conceived by theHoly Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, rose in bodily form from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in power and glory. (John 1:1-2, Colossians1:15-20, Philippians 2:5-11, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:9-11)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity, who is co-equal with the Father and the Son. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and empowers believers. He indwells, guides, teaches, and empowers the Church for ministry.
The Bible
We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They are the final authority for faith, doctrine, and lifestyle.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. All who repent, accept, and believe in Him are justified, reconciled to God, and receive the gift of eternal life.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit, and outreach. We are committed to living as a Kingdom community, equipping believers to impact the world for Christ.
The Kingdom of God
We believe in the present and coming Kingdom of God, where Jesus reigns as Lord. As His ambassadors, we seek to live out Kingdom principles—bringing transformation, justice, and reconciliation to the world. (Matthew 6:10; Luke 17:20-21; Revelation 11:15; Romans 14:17; 2 Corinthians5:17-21)
The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish His eternal Kingdom. The righteous will reign with Him, and the unrepentant will face eternal separation from God. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 21:1-4; Matthew 25:31-46)
Baptism and Communion
We believe in water baptism as an outward expression of an inward faith and in Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper, as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians11:23-26)
Apostolic Foundation
We believe in the foundational teachings of the apostles as recorded in Scripture, and we are committed to following the example set by the early Church. We hold the apostolic doctrine, as revealed in the Bible, as the guiding truth for our faith and practice. We strive to live out the message of the Gospel, uphold the apostolic teachings, and carry forward the mission entrusted to the Church by Christ Himself. (Ephesians 2:19-20; Acts 2:42, Colossians 1:28, Titus:1:9)
Marriage and Family
We believe, according to the Bible, that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman. It is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the Church. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24;Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:22-33)
The Five-Fold Ministry
We believe in the 5-fold ministries (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers) to equip believers in Christ to do the work of service. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Tithing
We believe tithing is a biblical act of worship, trusting God with our finances and supporting themission of the Church.
